Active Staff offers a range of free sports and activities on both campuses. Sessions are relaxed and suitable for all levels of fitness. Lunch-break friendly sessions are long enough to get you moving and short enough to fit around your daily commitments.

Wreath Making

Active Staff are very excited to be bringing some festive cheer to your home with an online Wreath Making Workshop. You’ll be making a fresh wreath ready for your door this Christmas and you’ll need to have some equipment and materials ready for the live session: Equipment needed: • Sharp scissors • Secateurs (optional) • Garden Gloves (optional) Materials needed (some can be foraged on one of our lunchtime virtual walk and talks): • Wreath wire base (circular 12” works well) • Reel of florist wire (2/3 people could share one as they come with a lot of length to them) • Moss (three large handfuls worth, fresh is best from florist or can be dried) • Pine (three large branches – can be bought from florist or cut down a small Xmas tree, blue spruce is the best) • Wired ribbon (1meter) • Selection of baubles (approx. 9, medium size) • Holy – can be foraged (optional) • Cinnamon sticks (optional) • Dried fruit sections (optional) • Artificial berries (optional) • Glitter Spray (optional)

Please note: due to the nature of the session and the importance of warm up, you will not be granted access more than 5 minutes after the start time so please ensure you arrive in plenty of time.
