The Men’s Football Club have two sides competing in BUCS competitions and are looking for players who can improve their squads and help push for promotions.
Well-built camaraderie is set within an excellent football environment with established, well-qualified coaches leading the sides.
The Football Club compete in the National University League and Cup programmes managed by BUCS:
1st XI: South Eastern 2B and Conference Cup
2nd XI: South Eastern 4D and Conference Cup
There are two weeks of FREE taster sessions at the start of Semester B (Monday 23rd January - Sunday 5th February) where you can try our sport and get to know our club members. Please check out the Club Sport training timetable by clicking here to see what sessions are available. Anyone who would like to join the Club must have signed up and paid for their appropriate membership following this two-week period.

The Football Club is coached and managed by a number of FA qualified and experienced coaches with a background in the professional, non-league and academy football.
Full REPRESENT membership for this club is £72.50 for Semester B. This consists of a £30 joining fee and £42.50 fee to access training and competitions. Please note you must have both parts of the membership to access all club benefits listed below:

If you are a student looking for a team to join or you are captain looking for extra players to join your squad in a Club Sport Football league, then come along to one of our FREE 'Find Your Team' sessions. Further information on these sessions can be found below.

* £30 refundable cash deposit - returned at the end of the semester if all matches completed in accordance to league rules and all squad bibs are returned to the HertSquad Office. This will be be collected from all teams at the first set of matches week commencing Monday 6th February.
The entry deadline for entering teams is 12:00 on Thursday 9th February.
All teams must have two team representatives at the Club Sport Football meeting at 18:00 on Friday 10th February which will be held in the International Suite at Hertfordshire Sports Village on the de Havilland campus.
The HertSquad Club Sport Football leagues will commence the week beginning Monday 13th February.

Students can enter a team into one of the Club Sport Football leagues above by following the instructions below:
We recommend the team captain enters the team into the league. All team members will have to follow steps 1-5 above and then join their set team so that all team members are visible.
All teams must have the minimum number of squad players (6 or 8) visible under their Playwaze Football team who have all paid the required individual entry fees by the entry deadline to secure their team space.
Students are responsible for organising their own teams. Although assistance is offered through our FREE 'Find Your Team' sessions at the start of term to help teams recruit players or for individuals looking for a team to join. Just come along to one of the sessions below with your student I.D. card:
