Just Keep Swimming!
Team GB Para-Swimmer Louise Fiddes, who trains at Performance Herts with Hatfield Swimming Club, competed at the Madeira Para-Swimming World Championships this month. She fought hard to bring home two brilliant bronze medals in the 200m Freestyle and 200m Individual Medley. She's back in the gym this week in preparation for the Commonwealth games - we're so excited to see what Louise can accomplish! Great work, keep it up!
Jumping onto international podiums!
HTAP athlete Lewis Gosling took home a silver medal in the men's indidvidual DMT final at the 2022 Trampoline, Tumbling and DMT European Championships, where he also picked up a team bronze. After multiple lengthy injuries to his ankle, it's great to see Lewis going from strength to strength in his performances.
Turbo-Charged Track Times
Jess Hunter competed at the ATLETICAGENEVE in Geneva this month achieving not one, but two, qualifying times for the Commonwealth Games with two PBS in the 100m hurdle at 13.12 (+1.2) in the final and 13.09 (+2.1) in the heat. Well done Jess!
Squash, Squash and More Squash
England Squash athletes have been smashing it this month at the British National Championships, with some great performances throughout. Tom Walsh and Adrian Waller came head to head in round one of the competition, with Waller coming out on top with a 3-1 win en-route to a quarter final showing. Grace Gear and Anna Kimberley also competed reaching the quarter finals. Awesome work as always.
