Currently on our Learn to Swim programme?
Here is some important information and frequently asked questions you will need to know:
- Swimming hats, certificates and badges are included in the cost.
- Our swim admin team are available to help with any queries 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

- You can follow your children's progress on the HomePortal here.
- A 'move' option can be activated on the HomePortal on request if you wish to change your child's day or time of the lessons.
- Car parking is free for 2 hours. There is no charge after 7pm and at weekends.
- Children under 8 years of age must be dropped off and picked up from the lesson.
- Please do not access poolside any earlier than 5 minutes before the lesson starts.
- Parents are encouraged to sit in the viewing gallery. You can stay on poolside for the first lesson while your child settles into the class.
- We follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme Stages 1 - 10.
- Swim England recommend 1 year to complete a stage, but this can vary for each child.
- Each centre may differ slightly, but we focus on developing excellent technique.
- Please discuss any concerns with our swim admin team.
- Please keep us up to date with any additional needs of your child.
Please help us keep our pool clean
- Outdoor shoes are not allowed in the changing rooms or on poolside.
- Please ensure your child uses the toilet before lessons.
- Please make sure your child is showered before entering the pool.
- Please wear the swimming hat provided. This is also for your child's safety.
