If you have a passion for sport and want to participate, compete and/or represent UH in a wide variety of sports, then Club Sport is for you! It offers a wide range of opportunities to get involved in sport on campus or afar, develop personal skills, celebrate sporting achievements and a chance to develop friendships for life. 

Join one of our sports clubs where we offer a variety of opportunities for participation, competition, and the chance to represent the university. Our clubs welcome all abilities and will provide you with a sense of belonging through the club atmosphere and exclusive purple hoodie which you receive when you join! 

Club Sport Compete

Club Sport Compete offers on-campus competitive sessions against other University of Hertfordshire students. We offer regular, competitive sessions to allow you to play and compete against your fellow herts students in a friendly competitive environment. You could join us for a Badminton, Basketball, Cricket or Volleyball sessions with our Compete Membership, or  attend our weekly Football and Netball Pay and Play sessions for just £3.

We also organise regular tournaments to take part in such as Football and Cricket. 

We provide all the equipment, national governing body officials and ensure competitive sport in supportive environments.

Club Sport Represent

Club Sport Represent gives you the chance to represent the University of Hertfordshire home and away against other universities in the weekly British University and College Sport (BUCS) leagues or one-off BUCS Individual competitions. Our clubs train weekly with highly qualified coaches in regular and structured training sessions at brilliant facilities.
