Active Staff offers a range of free sports and activities on both campuses. Sessions are relaxed and suitable for all levels of fitness. Lunch-break friendly sessions are long enough to get you moving and short enough to fit around your daily commitments.

Part of the Menopause Wellbeing Summer Series (powered by Active Staff) – a real collaborative effort and example of partnership working between Workplace Wellbeing, Menopause Network, Active (Staff) and Performance Herts. Whilst these sessions are aimed at building long-term lifestyle change and will benefit those in perimenopause right through to post menopause into later life, sessions are open to all staff regardless of gender and stage of life! Do you want to become more confident in the weights are at the gym? Then this session is perfect for you. Learn the foundations of weight training in a small, friendly and female only environment. Please note: due to the nature of the session and the importance of warm up, you will not be granted access more than 5 minutes after the start time so please ensure you arrive in plenty of time.

It is a fun, safe session, to learn the basics of Tennis or play a game with friends. All Equipment Provided! Slow controlled flowing movements, primarily to strengthen the core muscles that stabilise & support the spine. It brings the mind & body together, focusing on breathing & balance, whilst realigning the body & correcting posture. If you have some experience of pilates or have never tried it before, this is the session for you! Develop your skills in the same fun, safe environment with a qualified pilates instructor. All equipment is provided!
Summer Rollerskating

Whether you have never tried on rollerskates before or whether you are an accomplished skater, everyone is welcome to Active Rollerskating! If you wish to develop your skills, our Activators are on hand to teach you how to roll on around with confidence! One of the most popular Active sessions on the programme so make sure you are early to guarantee entry!
