Club Sport Free Taster Sessions

Kick off Semester B by trying something new! For the first two weeks, all Herts students can drop in to our free Club Sport taster sessions. No sign-up needed, no experience required - just turn up, give it a go, and find the sport that fits you.
HertSquad Takeover

Location: The Oval, College Lane
Join us for an evening packed with free activities, games and prizes.
Whether you’re into sport, social challenges, or just want something fun to do after classes, there’s something for everyone.
It’s the perfect chance to socialise, meet new people, and kick off the new term in style.
Bring your friends - or come solo and make some new ones - as we take over The Oval for a night of good vibes and Hertsquad energy.
Hertsfest
Date: Wednesday 25th March
Time: 16:00 - 22:00
Location: The Oval, College Lane
Join us at The Oval for HertsFest - a FREE campus celebration packed with fun, music, activities, and epic prizes.
It’s one of the biggest events in the university calendar, bringing students together for an unforgettable day of entertainment and good vibes.
Open to all students, totally free - just turn up and enjoy the festival atmosphere!
Varsity

Location: The University of Derby
We’re heading to Derby for the ultimate showdown!
Join Team Herts as we go head-to-head in 25 sports, battle it out on Derby turf, and fight to bring the Varsity trophy back home.
