Club Sport Compete offers on-campus competitive sessions against other University of Hertfordshire students. We provide all the equipment, sports activators, national governing body officials (in Football and) and ensure competitive sport in supportive environments.

Membership Options

Join us for weekly competitive Badminton, Basketball, Netball or Volleyball sessions

What to bring to these sessions:

  • Student ID
  • Appropriate Clothing and footwear 
  • Please be aware that these sessions are first come first serve and if maximum capacity is reached, you will not be able to enter the session.

Pay and Play - £3.50 per session

Join us for weekly competitive Football. 

What to bring to these sessions:

  • Student ID
  • Payment Card
  • Appropriate Clothing and footwear 
  • Shin Pads for Football (these are compulsory and you will not be permitted to play without them)
  • Please be aware that these sessions are first come first serve and if maximum capacity is reached, you will not be able to enter the session. 

School Games

Get ready for the ultimate showdown! The School Games bring weekly matchups where schools compete in different sports. Each week, a new opponent and a new sport—until every school has faced off. 
Come down and represent your school on Monday 17th February, 16:30-18:30, Sports hall 3, de Havilland.

Tournaments

Think you have what it takes to beat all the competition and take home the Club Sport Compete Tournament trophy? Each semester, HertSquad runs multiple tournaments in a range of different sports here on campus. So, discuss with a group of friends and get a team together to compete in the next one. If you don't have a team, why not come down to the weekly Compete sessions, participants are always looking for players.

We have a limited number of spaces for our tournaments, so make sure you are quick to sign up and pay the entry fee.
