Club Sport Compete offers on-campus competitive sessions against other University of Hertfordshire students. We provide all the equipment, sports activators, national governing body officials (in Football and) and ensure competitive sport in supportive environments.

Membership Options

Join us for weekly competitive Badminton, Basketball, Netball or Volleyball sessions

What to bring to these sessions:

• Student ID
• Appropriate Clothing and footwear 
• Please be aware that these sessions are first come first serve and if maximum capacity is reached, you will not be able to enter the session.

Pay and Play - £3.50 per session

Join us for weekly competitive Football. 

What to bring to these sessions:

• Student ID
• Payment Card
• Appropriate Clothing and footwear 
• Shin Pads for Football (these are compulsory and you will not be permitted to play without them)
• Please be aware that these sessions are first come first serve and if maximum capacity is reached, you will not be able to enter the session. 

 

Tournaments

HertSquad is running a Compete Volleyball and Compete Badminton Doubles tournament at the Hertfordshire Sports Village, Sports Halls. On Saturday 1st February. To sign your team up, please click here or go onto the @hertsquadclubsport Instagram page and click on the Linktree in the bio to access both forms. Entries will close on Friday 24th January.

Your volleyball team or badminton pair must pay a £20 cash refundable deposit to the HertSquad office located next to the Sports Village entrance. The deposit drop closes on Monday 27th January at 5 pm. Your place is not secure in the tournament until you have paid the £20 deposit. Thank you!
