Hertfordshire win Varsity 2018 with a 15-2 defeat over Bedfordshire.
On Wednesday 28 March, the University’s de Havilland Campus became host to our annual varsity competition against the University of Bedfordshire.
Battling it out across 17 sporting fixtures, Team Hertfordshire, nicknamed the ‘Purple Army’, triumphed with a 15-2 victory over Team Bedfordshire. This year’s win see Hertfordshire crowed champions for the 7th consecutive year.
Supported by staff and students from across the University, the biggest win of the day came from Netball 1st as Hertfordshire won the fixture with a final score of 74-18.
Bedfordshire also showed their fighting spiriting defeating Hertfordshire in Men’s Futsal 1st and Mixed Tennis 1st.
