Free Active Student Event! Bicycles, Wheelchairs, Roller-skates and Skateboarding- bring your own or borrow ours for free! 

Bicycles: 13:00-15:00

De Havilland Plaza (De Havilland)- Herts Disability Sports Foundation partner with Active Students to offer you an afternoon of cycling. Accessible bikes offered here for all disabilities. You can also get your bicycle serviced by our mechanic.

Union Square (College Lane)-  Herts County Council partner with Active students to offer you an afternoon of cycling. Learn to Ride for the first time, take a guided ride with our leaders. As well as learning about all the cycling routes and possibilities across Hertfordshire. Finally, mark it against theft with your University Campus Policing team! 

Oval MUGA (College Lane)- Herts County Council partner with Active students to offer you an afternoon of cycling. Learn to Ride for the first time, take a guided ride with our leaders.

Skateboarding: 16:00-18:00, Oval MUGA

A change of wheel type for the evening. Learn the basics or refine your skills with the support from our instructors. All equipment will be provided however, you are welcome to bring your own. 

Roller-skating: 19:00-21:00, Oval MUGA

Everyones favourite Rollerskating! Rollerskaters of all abilities to take over the Oval MUGA. Learn the basics or refine your skills with support from our instructors. All equipment will be provided however you are welcome to bring your own.

Wheelchair Basketball: 21:30-22:30, HSV

A change of wheel type for the evening, time for Wheelchair basketball. Whether you have a disability or not, come down and show your skills!
