Cricket is a bat and ball game played by two sides. The game continues when a player on the shooting team, called a bowler, legally moves the ball with "bowls" (pushers) from one end of the field to the wicket, with an "over" after doing so six times. On the batting side, there is one player at each end of the court, and the player at the opposite end of the field from the bowler player aims to hit the ball with the bat. The batting side scores either when the ball reaches the edge of the field or when two kickers switch ends of the field, resulting in a run. The field team's goal is to avoid scoring and throwing every kicker (so they're "out" and are said to have "lost their wicket"). When ten kickers are dismissed, the innings end and the teams switch roles.
